We’ve made WorkEasy Software even better with thoughtful updates and powerful new features. These changes were designed to streamline your workflows, improve clarity, and give you more flexibility across the platform. 🚀
Time and Attendance
Enhancements
Employees can now be excluded from overtime tracking
A new setting was added to let admins turn off overtime tracking for specific employees, overriding company-level rules.
Frozen punches were made viewable, but not editable, for view-only managers
Managers with the "View timesheets" privilege can now see frozen punches without being able to modify them.
Updates
Overtime calculation was corrected for the 5th day in multi-day rules
Time off days are now excluded from 6th and 7th consecutive day overtime calculations unless configured otherwise.
Scheduling
Enhancements
A filter was added to hide actual vs. planned totals in scheduler views
You now have the option to reduce screen clutter by hiding totals in the scheduler.
A filter was added to hide shifts from other scheduled plans
This update makes it easier to view just the shifts you need by hiding unrelated plans.
A filter was added to hide holidays and time-off entries
You can now clean up your view by hiding holidays and time-off records from the scheduler display.
HR Data Management
Updates
Departments and managers were consistently displayed in employee reports
The monthly employee list now reliably shows department and reporting manager fields.
Platform
Enhancements
System privileges were reorganized into a clearer structure
Privileges are now grouped into a three-level hierarchy for easier navigation and assignment.
Admin-linked accounts were protected from deactivation
If an employee account is linked to an admin login, it can no longer be deactivated or archived without unlinking first.
Updates
Activation emails were updated to display links and buttons more clearly
We enhanced email rendering to ensure the “Activate account” link and download button appear across all clients.
Password reset links were made consistently visible in all email clients
Users can now reliably access reset links, even on platforms using light mode.
Devices
Enhancements
A real-time hours snapshot was added to Xenio self-service clocks
Managers can now view up-to-the-minute worked hours directly from the time clock device.
Online features were enabled by default for time clocks
Time clocks are now pre-configured with Enable Online Features and Host address to simplify setup.
